Overview: Using an adaptation of Bloom's Taxonomy, this course asks the learner to recall prior knowledge and introduces new knowledge in preparation for creation through practical application.

Problem: Creatives working in the live performance space are often trained in only 1-2 areas of design. To achieve a cohesive and impactful performance, directors and production managers must have a comprehensive understanding of all areas of theatrical design. 

Solution: This course provides of an essential overview of the necessary theatrical lighting language and equipment as well as applicable design elements such as lighting color theory.
